Zombies to invade Valentine's Day at youth center | Community Spirit

Middle schoolers to zombify faces, cards at event

The Oregon Youth Center and Public Library are teaming up for an un-Valentine's Day event Thursday.

The community group for middle school-age kids will host a zombie-themed "Un-Valentine Party" from 4-5:30 p.m.

Organizers said the event is in the spirit of the zombie apocalypse. Attendees will put on zombie faces, make zombie Valentine's cards and munch on zombified "rotten" snacks at the youth center, 110 N. Oak St.

According to the library, no registration is required and the party is open to young people in grades 5-8.
